The Toxic Rain Pathfinder has many points in its favor, the build is fairly cheap, easy to play and deals with most end game content. Here is what you need to know to start playing with it.
+ Budget Friendly
+ Fast & Easy Leveling
+ Strong for Red Map farming
+ Doesn’t Feel Like a DOT Build
+ Fast Pace
– Nana Sustainability is Average
– Needs Vaal Clarity for End Game Bosses
– Uber Elder Will Give a Really Hard Fight
– Depends on Totem for Wither Stacks
Mathil went with an Ursine Pelt with Eternal Labyrinth enchantment “Herald of Agony has 30% reduced Mana Reservation”.
You should be looking high rolls both on Maximum Life and Elemental Resistances. At the time of this review, the helmet average cost without the enchantment on Delve was 10 Chaos!

For the Chest a Five-Link Cherrubim’s Maleficence, it will boost your chaos damage up to 80%. With 100% increased Life Leech and decent Evasion/Armour stats. I feel this is a good choice, but you can probably use many other options, even a good Rare will keep you alive until Red Maps.
At the time of this review, the Five-Link Cherrubim’s Maleficence average cost on Delve was 100 Chaos.

Gripped Gloves are a strong choice for any bow skills, make sure the roll has Maximum Life, Elemental Resistances and Attack Speed to boost Toxic Rain dps.
At the time of this review, the average cost of a decent pair for Gripped Gloves on Delve was 60 Chaos.

Attack Speed really makes or breaks this Build. So if you can spare the extra orbs get your boots with the enchantment “Attack and Cast Speed if you’ve Killed Recently” You can also try your luck in The Labyrinth, Izaro awaits you.
I feel the player can easily get better boots later in league for a cheaper price. Focus on Movement Speed at 30%, Maximum Life and Elemental Resistances.
At the time of this review, the average cost for a decent pair of Ancient Greaves on Delve was 25 Chaos. Click here to get yours.
The weapon of choice is a Six-Linked Quill Rain, on his video, Mathil mentions that he first tested the build with Lioneye’s Glare, a solid choice if you have one to spare, but the lack of speed just didn’t quite work for him.
At the time of this review, the average cost for a Quill Rain on Delve was 3 Exalts. Click here to get yours.
An alternative way to get this Bow is to farm for the card The Porcupine, and once you have the Six-Linked Short Bow use Orbs of Chance and Orb of Scouring until it turns to Unique.
From my experience, this method is usually fast and more affordable but RNG can’t be trusted.
Mathil keeps it simple and goes with a Doedre’s Damning for the Dual Curse setup (Temporal Chain you will get from Blasphemy + Despair from Witchfire Brew Flask). Look for Rares with good rolls on Maximum Life, Elemental Resistances Physical Damage and Added Chaos Damage to Attacks.
You will need a free prefix and Elreon Level 7 in order to craft the added Chaos Damage on the Ring and Amulet.
For most maps, you won’t be needing the mana flask, still Mathil keeps one just in case he needs to run maps with no Regeneration or No Leech mods. Same logic for the Silver Flask, you may need to swap them depending on what Boss you will be facing next.
The build is solid and as I researched it looks to be quite popular in Delve League.
The mechanics are simple, there are no gem or item swapping. Just keep the Quicksilver Flask up all the time and clear the trash with Toxic Rain. Found a pack of worthy opponents? No problem, drop your totem near them and use both Vaal Clarity and Haste. This will boost your DPS and will prevent getting out of mana most of the times.
Hope this build review will help you level your character.
If you like or have any suggestion feel free to comment, give it a thumbs up and share it with other Exiles.
