Kinetic Blast CI Inquisitor Wander
The Kinetic Blast changes that came with 3.4 expansion left many players wondering how the skill will perform this league, Mathil puts it to test and finds that in its current state Kinetic Blast it’s not a great endgame skill. If you really want to push it to Red tier maps it will cost you an unreasonable amount of Exalts for what you get, and it still needs the help of Barrage to make it viable.
But not everything is lost for KB, this Energy Shield based Inquisitor shines when it becomes to clear trash mobs making it a great option for a Delve farmer, and with a few adjustments in gear you can lower the cost to a reasonable level.
Due to its great AOE and fast-paced gameplay, the 3.4 version of Kinetic Blast is a good option for finishing the game content, lower tier maps and Delving. Here’s all you need to know to start the slaughter.
Passive Tree & Bandits
Passive Tree Jewels
The passive tree takes up to tree Searching Eye Jewels, look mostly for Maximum Energy Shield and added Elemental Damage compatible with Wands.
For the most part, every CI build will require gear with high ES rolls and elemental resistances. As for the Eternal Labyrinth enchantment Barrage fires an additional Projectile, it is easily the best option but also very rare and expensive.
If your goal is to invest in the Kinetic Blast, any of the Eternal Labyrinth enchantments will increase the build clear speed.
Since this is a Chaos Inoculation build the Exile is immune to Chaos Damage, Incandescent Heart will reduce elemental damage taken by 25%. I don’t feel like this is the only option for this build, you also use a Rare armour with high ES roll.
Speed is the name of the game in this build, so get a pair of boots with the standard 30% Increased Movement Speed and really good roll both on ES and Elemental Resistances. There are many options for this piece of gear. If available, look for the Eternal Labyrinth enchantments that add Elemental Damage or increase Attack Speed like #% increased Attack and Cast Speed if you’ve Killed Recently.
Wand & Shield
Having the Shaper mod Adds # Lightning Damage to Attacks with this Weapon per 10 Intelligence in a wand with high added Lightning Damage, Attack Speed, and Critical Strike Chance won’t be an easy find.
A much cheaper alternative would be using a Piscator Vigil. Look for Corrupted versions with additional attack speed, Chance to get a Power Charge on Crit, and added Elemental Damage.
A Shield with around 300+ ES and high rolls in Elemental Resistances is a good starting point. Depending on availability look also for increased Spell Damage.
Look to fulfil any shortages on Elemental Resistances, Energy Shield, and Stat Requirements for Skills. Additional Elemental Damage and Critical Strike modifiers are also welcome.

The main stats to look in the amulet are:
– Elemental Damage with Attack Skills
– Critical Strike Multiplier
– Lightning Damage
– Maximum Energy Shield
Finally, the Flasks setup is straightforward, keep the Diamond, Silver, Sulphur, and Atziri up for maximum damage, and a Quicksilver to keep the fastpaced playstyle.
The Kinetic Blast 3.4 CI Inquisitor Wander is basically a farmer build. If your goals are not dealing with the Guardians and the Shaper this is a good option. The Exiled is immune to Chaos Damage and in open areas, has good survivability and it completely obliterates packs of mobs with one click. For this purpose, you can ditch Barrage and use Kinetic Blast as your 6 Link Skill.
This CI Inquisitor Wander feels like a good build for your first character in League, where the main goal is to farm currency to gear the next character, the Unique items are common and affordable and the fast pace playstyle makes it really enjoyable.
Hope this build review will help you level your character.
If you like or have any suggestion feel free to comment your opinion, give it a thumbs up and share it with other Exiles.
